Ergonomics is the study and analysis of work as it
relates to equipment design and individual
characteristics, intended to maximize productivity,
efficiency, and safety, and minimize employee
fatigue and discomfort. Techniques to address
workplace ergonomics issues include
equipment/workstation modification,
work habit and postural modifications,
stretch breaks, and task rotation. |
|

Correct Posture |
- Individual Workstation Assessment (30 or 60 minutes)
- On-site Walk-Through
- Employer/Supervisor Training
- Ergonomics Instruction for Employees
|
|
|
|

Incorrect Posture |
- Allow return to full work status
- Reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders
- Reduce employee discomfort
- Reduce workers’ compensation claims
- Improve employee productivity
